The National Library has digitised newspapers published in Finland from 1771 to 1920. They are available online. Some newspapers published after 1920 have also been digitised and are available in legal deposit libraries

National Library of Finland opens newspapers from beginning of independence available

National Library of Finland opens digitized newspapers and journals until 1920 to public at the digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi-service. The long-standing year 1910 is now moving onwards for 10 years. The material amount will increase for about 1,9 million pages. Terms of use.

It is now easier to collect images, advertisements and articles from the digital collections of the National Library. You have access to your own personal page for collected clippings with the possibility to private comments. These clippings are searchable for all users via the "Clippings"-page. You can share your clippings in social media. Login in the right hand corner.
